Rosary Retreats at
In his apostolic letter on the Most Holy Rosary, Pope John Paul II
encouraged all the faithful to "sit at the school of Mary and contemplate
the face of Christ."
Real Life Rosary in co-operation with Cabins in the Pines want to
help you do just that. You are invited to come relax for a while and sit
at the "school of Mary" at our Rosary Retreats.
The retreats will be held at the Cabins in the Pines in the beautiful,
scenic Hocking Hills. This tranquil location set on 80 acres will allow
you to free your mind and turn it more fully toward Christ and His
Mother. The 80 wooded acres are filled with hiking trails and wildlife.
Each cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, hot tub, and more.
The Rosary Retreat will be hosted by author and speaker, James M.
Hahn. James is the Director of Religious Education at St. Michael
Church in Worthington and is the author of Rosary Meditations
for Real Life. He is also the founder of Real Life Rosary, an
organization that seeks to help the faithful discover their lives within the
mysteries of the rosary. He has written extensively for many Catholic
publications and has facilitated many retreats and adult education
programs.
Two retreat weekends are currently scheduled and will run from Friday
evening until midmorning Sunday. Each retreat will allow for a
maximum of twenty participants in order to keep the retreat more
prayerful and focused.
Retreats are currently scheduled for: Summer & Fall of 2008
Participants will experience many opportunities for prayer, fellowship,
recollection, and relaxation. Talks will focus on learning to pray the
rosary more fruitfully and learning how to find everyday life events
hidden within the mysteries of the rosary.
The price of the retreat includes: cabin rental, meals, Rosary
Meditations for Real Life, and a cord rosary making kit.
